Movie Clip Wednesday: Best Comedy Scene

Moi's post on Movie Clip Wednesday has inspired me to jump on the bandwagon. It's my blog, and I'll do what I want. I'm taking a left turn here...

Her clip from Clerks 2 reminded me of a scene from one of my all time favourite comedy films, "The 40 Year Old Virgin." This film totally taps my inner teen-age boy. Yes, I have an inner teenage boy, and he has limited impulse control, and is politically incorrect, and gives bad advice, and says all the wrong things...not unlike his outer 40-year-old mommy.

Plus, what's more fun than riffing on something totally politically incorrect?

I don't care how cliché this film may or may not be, this is how I fell in love with Seth Rogan, and Steve Carrell. Behold, the comedic genius.

Yup. A classic. Thanks for posting it. The entire movie is dense with such unbelievably funny lines, it's impossible to name my favorites, but the Coldplay bitch slap is pretty good. And how cool is Catherine Kenner in this, huh? Love her.

That movie started me down the path of collecting Judd Apatow DVDs, both film and television.
