holy crap that was hard. don't ever let anyone tell you the training is the hard part. that's not true.
The RACE is the hard part
total time: 15:51, I think. with a lot of drama. including an unfeasibly hot day (97 or 98 depending on who you talk to) and a brush with heat stroke (or heat stress, depending on who you talk to). Way too much drama for me.
it's been a couple hours since I finished, I'm still nauseated. At some point, I expect I'll be really, really hungry. Right now, I'm not.
did I mention that was hard?

It was brutal out there and I was only doing the half. Awesome job finishing and finishing strong.
