I love the way she thinks

We left the house relatively early on Thursday to head out toward Glasgow to see some friends who live in Balloch.

We were about 15 minutes down the road when Twin A in the back seat asked, "Um. Mama? Is the Dinner Store open? Can we go to the Dinner Store?"

It took me a second to figure out that by "dinner store" she meant restaurant. Pipsqueak was hungry.

I still can't stop laughing.

We're keeping that one.

When Humbly Anne was little she used to like to go to 'The Apple Juice' store which was a cafe where we would get apple juice and bagels. I loved that.

Once a few years back Jon did a little chore. He raked up some leaves, bagged them and threw them in the garbage.

He was paid for the Job. He told my grandmother that he earned some money raking leaves. She asked "Were you paid by the bag?" and Jon responded "No, Gordon paid me"

When are you coming home?
Ah, Mississippi, is it? You know what people from Alabama say: "Thank Gawd for Miss'ippi" (Because otherwise, Alabama would be the single most made-fun of state...)
It snowed like crazy here. about a foot and a half or so.
