I don't quite feel like I have a full 100 miles loaded in the legs for tomorrow, so I've signed up for the half century. A half century is totally do-able.
50 miles? I laugh in your direction!
Incidentally, I feel a full century is also totally do-able, just not tomorrow.
I'm riding with a group of friends, who will be great company. Afterward, there will be breakfast burritos at Duran Central Pharmacy.
Oh yes!
I should mention that my legs feel like lead today after La Luz training. I woke up this morning feeling distinctly hung over. They'll be fine tomorrow.
Really.

Sounds nice! A few years back when I was living in Denver, I used to go to Albuquerque on business every other weekend. I spent a New Year's Eve there once too... nice city.
Good luck! Looking forward to your race report! I'm going to Cochiti for a lake swim tomorrow if you want to join me...I'll e mail ya!
Awesome! I was catching up on your blog and saw that you are going to the Tri-Raider. That is the state championchip for Texas, just like the Milkman is for New Mexico. It's a great race because it coincides with the Buffalo Springs Lake Half Ironman. It is a high energy event. Be sure to check out the Expo at the Holiday Inn.
I will be doing the half-iron Aquabike and Relay, a teammate will do the run. Misty will be doing the Tri Raider.
