OK, Maybe I Don't Suck

I've decided I have no reason to beat on myself anymore (Yay!). In retrospect, I know did the best I could. I can hold my head. My race times were comparable to the last race, I have nothing to bitch about.

That hard-on-myself thing? Oh, that's sooo last weekend. What was I thinking?! I keep forgetting the point of this whole thing. The point is...

are you ready?

I have a choice. I don't have to do anything I don't want to do (I can't believe I forgot that part).

Besides - it's been pointed out to me, it was a national qualifier race -- those were all super fit people out there with jillions of miles in their legs - and this was my second race ever.

Besides - cherry gu sticks to everyone.

Besides - check her out. Does she look like she's done? Hell no, she looks Bad Ass!

bygones.

Meanwhile, back in training land, I have had a pretty good "recovery" week of training. Recovery is kind of a misnomer, I seem to just keep going like that damned pink bunny. I did the longest swim I have ever done in my whole entire life last night - a whole 1600m. That's a mile to you and me, folks: a whole mile in 45 minutes and I didn't drown! I did feel a bit nauseous for awhile afterward. I think that's because I get water in my ear and it kinda messes with my inner ear.

I am excited now, I'm going to sign up for Tri-Raider, yes I am! I'm going to wear a wetsuit and I am going to fly - it's going to be AWESOME!
